Dear friends,

A couple of bits…

Vinyl Release

The vinyl re-release of our previous two albums is drawing near, to celebrate this fact we will be having a launch party at the Belgrave Music Hall in Leeds. It’ll take place on the 3rd April, and best of all it’s free.

Here’s a link to the nice people at Vinyl Tap who are responsible for making this happen, all the info you’ll need regarding the vinyl release can be found here…

Special Wolves and Thieves Gigs

As some of you may know, next week on the 7th of March we have our special Wolves and Thieves show. We will playing our first album from start to finish to commemorate the birthday of our first label Fierce Panda. All tickets for this gig have now been sold, many thanks if you are among those coming.

Because the demand for tickets has been so high, we have booked in some further shows in the North of the England playing Wolves and Thieves in it’s entirety. Some of the songs we very rarely play so come down if you like the album.

Tour Dates

2nd April – Manchester
Ruby Lounge

3rd April – Leeds
Belgrave Music Hall
Free Show

5th April – Hartlepool

This is the first and perhaps only time we will be playing the album from start to finish, so it’ll be a special evening. We may even wear checked shirts for the occasion.

That is all, we hope you’re in fine fettle.

New Year Message

Hello everybody and a happy new year to you

With the new year comes renewed opportunity and we are pleased and to have been invited to take part in a special one off show to celebrate the 20th birthday of our first label Fierce Panda. As requested by the label we shall be playing our debut album Wolves and Thieves in it’s entirety and in the order it was designed. Which is fun, as long as everyone doesn’t leave after King of Rome.

The gig will take place at the The Lexington, Kings Cross, on the 7th March, you can bag yourself a ticket or two by clicking here

In news as anticipated as the remastering of The Beatles catalogue, it is with a great deal of pleasure that we announce the release of both our albums on 12 inch vinyl. We do get the odd correspondence from vinyl aficionados with regards to a possible vinyl release so hopefully this will fulfil your hungers.

While the precise date of release remains unknown, I’m assured by the management that it will hitting the streets in ‘the next month or so’. We will be sure to let you know.

In conjunction with this we will be releasing a new and improved version of Oh Really, recorded in Switzerland during the making of Long Distance Song Effects. Whilst seemingly destined for a spot on our second album, it’s exclusion will now result in it being given away to anyone how wants it. Check the website or Facebook page for details of it’s imminent arrival.

So that’s that, bye for now.

Fond regards

Goldheart Assembly
